By March 5, 2011, XCMG had manufactured 5,000 spreaders. In celebration of the memorable moment, on the morning of March 5, XCMST held the offline ceremony for “XCMG’s 5,000th spreader” on the just-launched spreader product line at Xuzhou Jinshanqiao Economic Development Zone. Themed by “New Start, New Leap”, the ceremony was concise but grand. Feng Zhongxu, professor of Chang’an University and doctoral supervisor; Yang Dongsheng, vice president of Xugong Machinery and general manager of XCMST, as well as over 100 spreader customers in Xuzhou were present to witness the inspiring moment. As XCMG’s 5,000th spreader-RP903S intelligent asphalt spreader ran off the production line slowly, a new page was opened in Chinese history of road machinery.
