The Xuzhou Heavey Machinary Co. Ltd. , a Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) subsidiary, and the No. 10 Construction Company of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) formerly signed the sales contract for the XGC88000 crawling crane at Xuzhou, XCMG’s home base, on 13th July. The crawling crane ordered by the Sinopec subsidiary boasts the maximum load moment of 88000 ton-meter and maximum hoisting capacity of 3600/4000 ton, setting new world records for being the largest crawling crane in terms of tonnage, working condition coverage, safety reliability, conveying efficiency and economic serviceability. It is the most capable model of the integrated crawling crane family so far developed and manufactured by the hoisting machine industry and the first successful sale of a 4000 ton-class unit in the world.
XCMG and Sinopec have been on good working terms for years. As one of the largest state owned corporations in China with the most wholesome industrial chain and bounteous resources, Sinopec has been devoted to the nation’s energy industry construction and accomplished a great number of major petrochemical projects, being known for its rich experiences in the petrochemical construction area. Being China’s construction machinery leader, XCMG is blessed with generous experiences in developing and manufacturing large mobile cranes, as its 1000 ton-class, 2000 ton-class crawling cranes and 1000 ton-class all-terrain canes have played major roles in large-scale wind power and petrochemical constuction projects all across the country at Wuhan, Guangdong, Qingdao, Tianjin and Fujian. XGC88000 is specially designed and developed to meet the demand for integral hoisting of the petrochemical, oil, nuclear power and chemical industries, setting world records in terms of tonnage, working condition coverage, safety, reliability, conveying efficiency and economic serviceability. Its emergence and successful sale portends the full rising of China’s high-end large-tonnage hoisting machine making technology to the world top level. Having recently completed the manufacturing phase, the product is set for whole-unit alignment and the sales deal is signed on the basis of the progress.
