XCMG Crawler Crane Helps Build World Cup Facilities

August 02, 2016

XCMG QUY100 crawler crane was recently involved in building ancillary facilities for the preparation of the World Cup in Doha, the capital of Qatar, thereby delivering the China power to the “Oil Empire”.

Local temperatures can reach 45℃ in Qatar, with the tropical desert climate featuring scorching heat, dryness, strong wind and dust. During the bidding process for the World Cup venue, the Australian media teased the country by saying “Cristiano Ronaldo would not like to get his hair burned”. However, despite all these negative factors, the XCMG crawler crane repeatedly lifted the 25-ton excavator to the 60-meter deep water storage pit. It successfully accomplished all tasks and won local clients’ praises for its stable and reliable performance, becoming a bright spot in the construction blueprint for the 2022 World Cup venue.
